Counselor Family Marriage

Can I have my own practice (marriage & couples) counseling in my own home ?

Can I start practicing this business after I took 4.5 years of school on line, got my degree, am going for my masters and taking the NY state exam …. I will have to go for my doctorine ..
Can I start my own practice or have to wait until I get my dotorine?
Any suggestions?

   You have to be licensed to practice without supervision. I suggest you find a job where you can be properly supervised for a few years before going out on your own.
